The New Braunfels Leo Club provides a dynamic platform for middle and high school students to cultivate civic responsibility, ethical behavior, and compassion through hands-on community service.

Student-Led, Lion-Backed

The Leo Club operates under its own constitution and student leadership team, giving members a tangible sense of ownership and accountability. However, mentorship is at the core of what we do:

• Sponsorship: Fully sponsored by the New Braunfels Noon Lions Club, a staple of community service since 1924.

• Mentorship: Experienced Lions advisors attend all meetings, offering professional guidance and a secure environment.

• Networking: Students connect directly with local business and civic leaders, opening doors for future career opportunities.

By engaging in impactful local projects, Leos develop critical life skills that enhance their college and career readiness:

• Leadership & Collaboration: Managing time, organizing events, and leading teams.

• Communication: Presenting ideas and advocating for community needs.

8/22 -  McKenna Events Center, 801 W. San Antonio Street

Two shifts 6:30am - 8:30pm and 8:30pm - 10:00pm

Family Promise of Greater New Braunfels is looking for Leo Club members to volunteer at their annual Starlight Soirée Gala on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the McKenna Event Center. They are seeking youth volunteers who would like to earn community service hours while making a meaningful impact in our community. Volunteer opportunities include:

• Greeting and ushering guests to their tables

• Assisting with meal service by delivering plated dinners to guests

• Supporting our silent and live auction activities

• Providing general event assistance throughout the evening

This is an excellent opportunity to serve your community while supporting families working to overcome homelessness.

9/24 - 9/28-  Comal County Fairgrounds

⏰ Arrival Time: Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled shift.

👕 🧢 👟 Dress Code: Wear light Clothing, Lion/Leos shirt, a cap (hair nets will be available) and don’t wear your best shoes—they might get a little greasy!

New Braunfels Lions Club hosts a booth at the Comal County Fair. This is an opportunity for Leos to volunteer to support the Lions Club raising funds that support the New Braunfels Lions Club activities throughout the year.

Join us on the 2026 Comal County Fair Parade Float! Location: Meet at the staging area @ 222 W Nacogdoches St

🍧👕👟 Dress Code: Comfy shoes! Lions/LEOs Club shirts/vests are preferred. We really want our community to recognize our club & branding!

Our parade entry will celebrate the 250th Anniversary of our great Nation!

9/25-  Flags for Comal County Fair Parade 

Distribution 7:00am - 7:45am Removal 4:00pm - 4:45pm

Sign up for either shift or both shifts!

For the Comal County Fair Parade, we will put out flags along S. Seguin Avenue from First Protestant church, up to and around the plaza (both inside and outside the circle), then along E. San Antonio Street from the plaza to the Comal River bridge.

Downtown New Braunfels

Join in on the celebration of Spooktacular by handing out 🛸tricks and 🍫treats to all of the little ghouls and goblins of New Braunfels! Each year the city hosts a fun trick or treat experience downtown. 

We have a funfilled booth and utilize this community gathering to provide outreach and educate others about 🦁 Lions Club and how WE SERVE 

👾👽🛸This years’ theme is ‘Out of this World Service!’

New Braunfels Downtown Leo meeting is open to all Leos.  The meeting is at Mill Street Youth Center on the 2nd Tuesday of the month 5pm - 6pm.

New Braunfels Lions Club is a proud supporter of Mill Street Youth Center. Mill Street Youth Center is a dedicated space for students in grades 6-12 from across the New Braunfels area. Whether students need a quiet place to study, want to try something new, or just want to hang out after school, MYSC is their place. Membership is free with a parent or guardian permission.  High School teen volunteers are needed on a regular basis and during events and tournaments. Volunteers will:

• Assist during events and tournaments

• Help with program setup, cleanup and supervision

• Serve as peer mentors during select programs
